Terms:

Eco-friendly: refers to the use of materials and structures in consideration of their response to the environment, and even how we will deal with them (whether they can be reused, recycled, reused, etc.)

Biodegradable-Compostable: Refers to a material structure made of different ingredients or coated/laminated. These ingredients react to air and sunlight, accelerating the decomposition of the package when it is no longer used. Need air and sunlight to work.

Recyclable-refers to whether the packaging can be combined with other "similar" packaging, or ground and re-made into the same or similar materials, or ground and used to make other products. A structured plan is needed to recycle all the same structures (such as a thin film) or recycle similar structures. This is a major difference. Think about recycling all the same grocery bags from the cash register...the thin blue or white bags used for groceries. This will be an example of recycling all the same membrane structures. This is difficult to do and control. Another method is to accept all plastic materials up to a certain thickness (such as blue food bags and all bags used to pack coffee beans). The key is to accept all similar materials (not the same), and then grind all these films and use them as "fillers" or "substrates" for children's toys, plastic wood, park benches, bumpers, etc. This is another way of recycling.

Sustainable: A neglected but very effective way to help our environment. If we can find ways to improve our business by reducing the energy used to make packaging, transport or store packaging, or all of the above, these are all examples of sustainable solutions. Take a hard plastic container with windshield washer fluid or cleaning supplies, and use a thinner flexible package, which can still hold the same amount, but the plastic used is reduced by 75%, and it can be placed flat, flat, etc... …Is a typical example.
